Street Signs With Messages

Not so fresh out of the oven but I came across this artist today while reading Flores en el atico. You never really see much about Guatemala, so it's kind of exciting to find this. Stefan Benchoam is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Guatemala City, and here is some of his urban intervention work. He cleverly inserted political messages on the shadows of street signs.

Web Trend Map 4 Final Beta is HERE!

The most recent version of the Web Trend map designed by Information Architects Japan is here. Great news as these maps are really very interesting and important for anyone who works in digital, web, advertising, hell, anything really... And they look quite sexy on the wall of your office. Plus it could be a collectors item in some years. I suggest looking at or even buying all the earlier versions to see the changes.

Rolling Stones Gypsy Wagon

Nice Architects built this Rolling Stones Gypsy Wagon as part of the competition "Small is Beautiful" organized by the Andes Sprouts Society. The wagon is inspired by gypsy wagons, built by environmentally friendly materials and is self sufficient in terms of energy, water and waste. With units like these who needs real estate?

Yuck or Yum? That Is The Question

Concept restaurants are definitely becoming more popular, and those with an averse concept are even more; restaurants with hospital themes, toilet themes... Here we have the Modern Toilet Restaurant, a poo restaurant in Taiwan. You don't actually poo while you eat but I guess you would kind of get the urge. It's like a scene from a nightmare of "going" in public. But these Taiwanese bunch made the toilet restaurant so cute that even the turd like ice cream looks yummy.

Ray-Ban Never Hide Chameleon

Cute little viral from Ray-Ban. Poor chameleon looks so disoriented. The video definitely has a hypnotizing effect, with the changing colors and the repetitive music I felt like the confused chameleon with one hand always in the air, ready to hit the stop button, but just had to watch until the end.
